Wheels To Work – providing scooter loans and transport solutions to overcome barriers and enable access to employment, training and education.

In carrying out its mission, Wheels to Work (W2W) provides a value for money and demand responsive way to improve people’s well-being, income and life chances; reduce dependency, social exclusion and benefits payments, while helping improve road safety, employers access to skills and the carbon footprint and sustainability of rural communities.

Vale Motorcycles is proud advocate and support this scheme in the Cheshire area.

During the loan period candidates are encouraged to save up for their own transport to maintain access to the workplace.

Conditions

The applicant must live in Cheshire

The applicant must be aged 16 +

The applicant requires a form of transport to enable them to travel to employment, training or education

The daily journey must be a practical distance for a moped

There is no suitable alternative form of transport available

If your application is successful you will get a moped for six months after you have completed your Compulsory Basic Training (CBT)

Safety equipment - helmet, gloves, protective jacket, waterproof coveralls and a reflective vest.

Insurance, tax and servicing are all covered by the scheme. 

Participants are required to make a contribution of £20.00 per week paid via a standing order.
